Developer menu for apps
Introducing the developer menu! The quickest way to check app configuration and get access to documentation, guidelines, and other useful links from within your app!.
When you open an in-development (draft) app, you will see a new icon button in the app header that opens the developer menu. This menu is only visible to you while your app is in development, and any users of your released app won’t see it.
What can the dev menu do?
Switch the app theme between light and dark modes
- Requires the use of the App UI Kit
Toggle whether payment links are allowed or not
Quick access to docs/guides/forum
Get notified of preview/deprecated API usages

I'm unable to see the developer menu?
If you can’t see the dev menu for your draft apps, logging in and out of your Canva account should do the trick. Remember also that the dev menu is only visible in your draft apps.
Will users of my app also see the developer menu?
No, the menu is only visible to you, the app’s developer, while the app is in development.
Once you submit your app for review, it will no longer become visible to you either.
