We’re excited to announce that Dark mode for canva.dev and canva.com/developers, is available now!
This will reduce eye strain during those late night coding sessions - because not everyone wants their screen to double as a small lighthouse at 2 AM. Welcome to the nocturnal developer’s paradise.
Instructions:
- Both platforms support automatic theme detection based on your system preferences. However, you can also manually set your preferred theme using the following methods:
For canva.dev:
- In the navigation bar on the top right use the new theme toggle.
- Your preference will be saved for future visits to canva.dev.
For canva.com/developers:
- Dark Mode follows your Canva profile settings.
- Visit your profile settings as detailed in our Light and Dark Mode Help Article
