At Canva, we’re always talking to our users and trying to understand what they want, but it’s not always possible to deliver those features in the core product. This is why we launched the Apps SDK, Apps Marketplace, and Innovation Fund - to empower and incentivize third-party developers to fill these gaps.
But while we love seeing what ideas developers come up with, it’s not always easy to figure out what to build. Check out our latest blog post highlighting 15 features that Canva users want and that could be developed with the Apps SDK.
Magic Write does include some of these capabilities, but Canva is available in 130 languages and used in over 190 countries, so we know there are regional differences that local developers will have better insight into and better trained data to be able to complete the tasks, like using local idioms and spellings.
I would like to ask how to consider the direction of application creativity. For example, the app that removes the image background function is included in the canva membership function. Does this creativity affect canva members and is it not recommended?
