Over the past few years, we’ve been working on deprecating extensions as we’ve introduced new functionality through the Apps SDK and Intents platform. We’re incredibly grateful for the creativity and effort the Extensions platform brought to the ecosystem, and want to make sure all Extensions developers can continue to support their users.
We’ve removed almost all Public extensions, and we are now saying goodbye to the whole Extensions platform.
What this means

The Extensions platform will be taken offline starting April 30, 2026

For extensions, here are the recommended new Intents to use:

Our Developers MCP is a great resource to help you rebuild your extension. There is no direct path to migrate from an extension to an App Intent, so extensions will need to rebuild as an App.
