Jingle apps, jingle apps, jingle all the way! :christmas_tree::wrapped_gift: Your DAM apps are translated and sleighing this holiday! :santa_claus::sparkles:

We’re excited to announce that our digital asset management app component is now out of beta into GA, and is translated. SearchableListView from @canva/app-components is used to easily create DAM apps using Canva’s app templates. We use this component internally for our Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Drive apps, and more!

Instructions

  • For new projects, update to the latest Canva CLI and run canva apps create "My New App" --template="dam"
  • For existing projects, just update your @canva/app-components package to the latest version with npm i @canva/app-components@latest.

Note:

  • To ensure your app is translated, make sure to follow these steps. The DAM sections will be translated automatically once your app is translated. Don’t forget to localise the strings in your config section!
