Multiple sites, canva.dev, canva.com/developers, canva.com/blog/developers

Minor issues, however, detracts from the experience, getting started and finding solutions.

Possibly a quick win; there are multiple sites. I appreciate that they link well and often seamlessly; however, inconsistencies exist.

For example, the top header (logo and menu items) is the same. However, there are the following differences:

  • canva.com: Logged-in, has “Canva Extend” banner, No Search, No SCIM API in Document Menu
  • canva.dev: Search docs, Document Menu, contains SCIM API, No Banner, No Login
  • canva.com/blog/developer: Document Menu contains SCIM API, No Login No Banner, No Search

Only canva.dev has a footer banner, and with it, the only one to link to community.canva.dev, see:

Suggestions (weakly held):

  • Using one url, either canva.dev or canva.com/developers
  • Put the dev blog under the above URL + /blog/
  • Make the header and footer consistent
  • Make community more visible
  • Possibly use slack (or other tool) over a community forum to allow the community to work faster and encorage the community to self support

Hey @mattrq,

Thank you for providing this feedback, it’s been passed on to the team that owns the sites.

They did share that each of the sites are meant to serve slightly different purposes, however there is ongoing work with designers to make them more seamless.

Second that! There is no apparent link from the docs to this community (nothing in the nav here: Apps SDK documentation - Canva Apps SDK Documentation). Would be nice to be able to go back and forth from docs to this forum in an easier manner.

Can we get a link to community.canva.dev in this menu?

Just like we have links to docs in the community.canva.dev…

I can easily go to the docs from this website I’m typing right now, but not the other way around!
