The Canva Dev MCP server connects your favourite AI coding assistants to specialized Canva development tools and documentation, to supercharge your developer experience and productivity.

This enables use-cases such as:

  • Generating app components from a single prompt
  • Localizing apps using the @canva/app-i18n-kit
  • Migrating apps and components to the App UI Kit
  • Exploring the Connect API endpoints and generating code-snippets in various languages
  • Ensuring your app is compliant with our guidelines
  • Conversing with AI assistant about Canva apps and integration

This isn’t an API rather an MCP server to aide with development via your favourite MCP client.

Have you had a chance to read the Setup Guide linked in the announcement above?
